Paul O'Connor

Paul O'Connor has a strong background in quality assurance and management roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Paul started their career at GlaxoSmithKline in 1995 as a QC Specialist and later became a QA Coordinator. In 1999, they joined Pfizer where they served as a Compliance Specialist and then progressed to become a Production Facilitator and Quality Assurance Team Leader. Paul'slast position at Pfizer was as a Quality Assurance Manager for API. In 2015, they joined Merck Group as the Head of Quality, and later took on the role of Head of Quality, Seperation and Instruments Technology Cluster. Currently, they serve as the Head of Quality for Western Europe and the Middle East.

Paul O'Connor began their education at the University of Limerick in 1991, where they completed a degree in Industrial Chemistry from 1991 to 1995. Paul then pursued further education at Trinity College Dublin from 2000 to 2002, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (Qualified Person). In 2009, Paul attended the University College Cork to obtain a Certificate in Leadership and Organisations, which was completed in 2010.
