Ruben Groen

Ruben Groen is currently the Global Head of Strategic Workforce Planning and People Analytics at Merck Group, a position held since February 2022, focusing on scaling workforce planning and implementing data-driven measures. Prior to this role, Ruben worked at PwC from April 2017 to February 2022 as a Manager HRIS, with an international assignment in the Milan office, and contributed to HR transformation and technology as a (Senior) Consultant HRIS. Ruben's experience also includes a position at HEINEKEN in 2016, where the focus was on operationalizing data within the organization, and earlier involvement as a Talent Manager for AIESEC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Health Psychology from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen, with ongoing studies at SUNY Geneseo.
