Tom Cronin

Tom Cronin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tom started their career as a Fitter/Turner at Irish Ispat in 1997 before moving on to Mechanical Technician at Merck Group in 2000. Tom then progressed to the role of Manufacturing Supervisor at Merck Group in 2004. From 2016 to 2018, they served as an Operational Excellence Leader supporting the Cork site within the Global OpEx team at Merck Group. Tom later became an Operations Leader in 2018 and a Production Manager in 2020 at Merck Group. Currently, they hold the position of IC4 Process and Operations Lead at Merck Group.

Tom Cronin earned an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Munster Technological University between 1997 and 2000. Tom also obtained a Diploma of Education in Leadership from Dublin Business School. In addition to their formal education, Tom Cronin holds a Black Belt Certification (BB) from Merck Life Science, which they obtained in August 2016.
