Ashley Wivel

Ashley Wivel serves as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Safety and Risk Management at Mer, where responsibilities include overseeing late-phase oncology development and market products like Keytruda. With extensive experience in clinical safety and risk management, Ashley has held multiple leadership roles at Mer and previously at GSK, focusing on pharmacovigilance, safety strategy development, and evidence generation for the effectiveness of medicines. Prior to these roles, Ashley worked as an attending physician at Kaiser Permanente and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University, serving as Chief Resident. Educational credentials include an A.B. from Harvard University, an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford, and an M.D. from Yale School of Medicine.
