Ashlie Plants is an experienced professional in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, currently serving as the Associate Director of Talent Assessment at Merck since June 2024. Previously, Ashlie held roles at Sapia.ai as Principal People Scientist and Lead People Scientist, overseeing global assessment design and validation processes. With a strong background as a Senior Scientist at Modern Hire, Ashlie managed complex selection assessment projects for major corporations and provided expertise in psychometrics and assessment optimization. Earlier career experiences include positions at Shaker International, The Aldridge Group, and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, along with a foundational role as an Occupational Safety Compliance Consultant. Ashlie holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
