Florence Stevenson

Florence Stevenson is an Associate Principal Scientist specializing in Drug/Device Combination Products at Merck since June 2025. Prior to this role, Florence served as a Mechanical Engineer at Key Tech Inc. from July 2018 to April 2025 and worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Medical Robotics and Equipment Laboratory from August 2017 to May 2018. Additional experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering and an R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern at BD. Florence also held research positions at the MEMS Sensors and Actuators Laboratory and completed an internship at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Florence holds a Master of Science in Applied Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Medical Devices from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Statistics from the University of Maryland.
