Jieun Son

Jieun Son is a Senior Scientist specializing in Discovery Oncology at Merck (MSD) since 2022. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2017 to 2022, focusing on drug discovery for lung cancer and patient-derived cell cultures. Jieun began their research career at Seoul National University, followed by a position as a Research Scientist at the University of Houston, where they studied cancer progression and assisted in laboratory management. They hold a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Houston and a Master's degree from Seoul National University.
