Jifa Zhang

Jifa Zhang, Ph.D., is a self-motivated and goal-oriented mass spectrometry specialist, analytical chemist, and medicinal scientist with extensive expertise in pharmacokinetics and DMPK. They have prior experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they explored targeted degradation using PROTAC and developed chemical proteomics approaches. Previously, Jifa served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, focusing on collision-activated dissociation mechanisms and organosolv lignin analysis. Currently, Jifa works as a Senior Scientist at Merck, having held the position of Associate Scientist at Sutro Biopharma, Inc., where they developed chromatographic assays and LC-MS methods for various biopharmaceuticals. Jifa earned their Doctor's Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University and holds a Master's in Medicinal Chemistry from Peking Union Medical College.
