Juan del Pozo

Juan del Pozo is a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Merck since February 2021. Prior to this role, Juan served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Amir Hoveyda's Research Group at Boston College from April 2016 to January 2021. Juan completed a PhD at Universidad de Valladolid under the supervision of Prof. Pablo Espinet from January 2012 to January 2016, after obtaining a Master's degree in Industrial and Synthetic Chemistry from the same institution in 2011 and a Licentiate degree in Chemistry in 2008. Juan has also held visiting researcher positions at Rutgers University in Alan S. Goldman's laboratories and at ICIQ in Vladimir V. Grushin's lab in late 2013.
