Kaustav Biswas

Kaustav Biswas is a seasoned peptide drug discovery leader currently serving as Sr Principal Scientist/Sr. Director at Merck since May 2018. With extensive cross-functional experience in management, discovery research, and early development, Kaustav drives innovation to address unmet clinical needs. Prior experience includes directing Discovery Chemistry Modalities at MRL Boston, focusing on oncology and inflammation targets, and significant roles at Amgen, where leadership included peptide and antibody conjugate R&D in neuroscience. Kaustav's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Princeton University, an M.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and a B.Sc. from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
