Kevin Stone

Kevin Stone is a Principal Scientist at Merck, specializing in Process Research Enabling Technologies with a focus on Data Rich Experimentation (DRE) since July 2015. In this role, Kevin leads a team dedicated to developing and implementing digital technologies to enhance pharmaceutical process development across various modalities. Kevin also serves as the scientific strategy lead for the DRE group, providing mentorship and guidance to a diverse team of specialists. Previous roles at Merck include Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, where Kevin contributed to process modeling, reaction engineering, and experimental design. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware. Additional experience includes engineering roles at Rogers Corporation, GE, BASF, and research as a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware.
