Nichole Martiak Valeyko

Nichole Martiak Valeyko currently serves as the Director of Patents at Merck, a position held since March 2019. Prior to this, Nichole held associate roles at Lerner David Littenberg Krumholz & Mentlik and McCarter & English, LLP, and served as an attorney at SorinRand LLP and Hoffmann & Baron, LLP. Nichole began a career in patent law as a Patent Attorney at Schering-Plough Research Institute. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property from Seton Hall University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Microbiology/Immunology from Virginia Tech.
