Prasanna Bekal

Prasanna Bekal is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in database management and infrastructure modernization. Currently serving as Associate Director at Merck since March 1997, Prasanna leads engineering projects involving Oracle technologies and manages initiatives to upgrade legacy systems to a Software Defined Infrastructure. Previous roles include Consultant at Oracle Corporation and Lead Database Administrator at WFS Services Inc. Prasanna holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
