Rose Yen

Rose Yen has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Scientist II at Merck since July 2017. Prior to this role, Rose held various positions at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc., progressing from Associate Scientist to Senior Research Associate II between 2008 and July 2017. Rose's earlier career included significant roles at Theravance as Research Associate II, and at Essential Therapeutics and Microcide Pharmaceuticals in multiple research associate capacities. Beginning as a summer undergraduate researcher in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Victoria in 1994, Rose also gained experience in polymer chemistry at Université de Montréal and McGill University. Rose earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from McGill University.
