Sarah Sirajuddin

Sarah Sirajuddin is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in process development, particularly in the field of vaccine conjugations and protein conjugation processes. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Merck since July 2019, Sarah focuses on downstream process development for vaccine conjugations and live virus vaccines. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Scientist Group Leader at Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions, where Sarah led lab-scale process development projects and conducted stability studies. Additionally, Sarah has held positions at Abbott as a Senior Process Scientist, addressing manufacturing and process failures, and has a strong academic background, including a PhD in Biophysics and Biochemistry from Northwestern University and a BA in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College. Early research contributions include significant work on biological methane oxidation and developing diagnostic assays during undergraduate studies.
