Shannon Hartley

Shannon Hartley, MBA, has extensive experience in technical operations and vaccine development at Merck since January 2015, currently serving as Associate Director in Polysaccharide Vaccines Technical Operations. Previous roles include Senior Specialist overseeing technology transfer for the pneumococcal vaccine franchise and leading manufacturing systems design for biologics. Shannon's career began at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories as a contract scientist, where contributions were made to the process development of various vaccines. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Lehigh University, an M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Gettysburg College.
