Abigail Fernandes

Abigail Fernandes currently serves as the Associate Director of Technical Operations at Virica Biotech since January 2024, following a substantial tenure at Turnstone Biologics where roles included Senior Manager of Quality Control and various positions in analytical development. Prior experience includes a scientist role in Test Development at Sanofi Pasteur and a PhD focused on antiviral drug discovery from the University of Dundee. Additional experience encompasses a range of research and internship positions from 2005 to 2015, including a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics and an undergraduate degree in Genes, Genetics, and Biotechnology from the University of Toronto.
