Umar Faruk Mansoor

Umar Faruk Mansoor has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Merck since February 2005, following roles as Associate Principal Scientist. Prior to Merck, Umar held the position of Senior Scientist at NeoGenesis Pharmaceuticals from May 2002 to February 2005 and worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at both ArQule and The Scripps Research Institute between 2001 and 2001. Umar's academic background includes a BSc and PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from The University of Sheffield, completed from 1991 to 1998.
