Benoît Lioud

Benoît Lioud has an extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Benoît started their career in 1992 at Pechiney as a Hedging & Sales systems coordinator. In 1994, they joined Elf Trading SA as a Middle Office Derivatives Products employee until 1998. Benoît then moved to TOTSA TOTAL OIL TRADING SA, where they worked in Risk Management Services from 1994 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. as a Senior Business Analyst until 2012, and later became a Senior Communications & Research Analyst from 2013 onwards. Additionally, Benoît worked as an Intervenant vacataire at Universite Lumiere Lyon 2 in 1996. Benoît also served as a Member of the Scientific Committee at the Swiss Research Institute on Commodities (SRIC) from 2015 until 2020.

Benoît Lioud attended Université Lumière Lyon 2 from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Master's degree (M2) in Financial Markets.
