Emmanuel Rérat

Emmanuel Rérat has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Emmanuel started their career as an intern at the Office de la viticulture du Valais in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an internal auditor (internship) at Galderma. Later that year, they joined Deloitte SA as a Senior Audit, where they performed audits of various companies and gained experience in financial reporting and analysis. In 2012, Emmanuel joined MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company as a Group Financial Controller and Analyst, where they were responsible for financial planning and reporting. Emmanuel also served as the Senior Group Controller (Asia, Middle East, Black Sea) and the Global Accounting and Reporting Project Lead during their tenure at MSC. Currently, Emmanuel holds the position of Senior Financial Controller at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., where they are responsible for financial control and management.

Emmanuel Rérat began their education in 1999 at Gymnase Francais de Bienne, where they pursued a Maturity degree with a specialization in Physics and Applied Mathematics. From 2002 to 2005, they attended HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, earning a Bachelor's degree in Management. In 2007, they briefly studied at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on Management. Later that same year, they returned to HEC Lausanne to pursue a Master's degree in Management, which they completed in 2008.
