Ganesh Sahu

Ganesh Sahu has extensive work experience in risk management within the energy and banking sectors. Ganesh started their career at HDFC Ltd as an Assistant Manager in 2000 and then joined ICICI Bank as a Chief Manager in 2005. After that, they worked as a Risk Analyst at Drax Power from 2009 to 2011. Ganesh then joined Centrica Energy as a Risk Manager in 2011 and held this position until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, Ganesh worked at Glencore UK Ltd., first as a Senior Risk Manager and then as the Head of Market Risk. Currently, they are serving as the EMEA Risk Team Lead at Mercuria.

Ganesh Sahu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences at Ravenshaw University. Ganesh then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) from 1998 to 2000. Afterward, Ganesh attended London Business School from 2008 to 2009 to earn a Master in Finance degree, specializing in Quantitative Finance.
