Gold Obielum has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. They started their career at National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) as an IT Support, where they were involved in setting up internet connections, troubleshooting, database design, and system upgrades.

From there, they moved on to IOSYS LTD as an Information Security Analyst, where they created data retention policies, investigated incidents, and utilized ITIL methodology to enhance cyber security prevention and response.

After that, Gold worked at Gobas Farms Ltd as an IT Operations Officer and later as a Product Analyst. In these roles, they realigned production strategies, analyzed growing and harvesting programs, developed databases for analytics, and utilized tools like Tableau, SQL, Python, AGRIVI, and Jupyter Lab to provide value-added insights.

Currently, Gold is working at Mercuria as an Application Support Analyst.
