James Coley

James Coley has a diverse work experience spanning over the course of several years. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Software Developer at United Space Alliance, where they performed software development and maintenance using C, FORTRAN, Python, and Unix/Linux tools. James also played a key role in rehosting mission critical applications. In 2008, they joined Merrill Lynch Commodities, Inc. and served as a Market Data Software developer and later as a Market Risk Software Developer. In these roles, they designed, implemented, and maintained trade handling processes and market data pulls using various programming languages and tools. James optimized the VaR calculation process for end of day reports. In 2015, James became an Application Support Developer at Merrill Lynch Commodities, Inc., and most recently, in 2018, they joined Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. as a Market Risk Analyst.

James Coley attended The University of Houston at Clear Lake from 2000 to 2003. During this time, they earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics.
