Lennart Koelstra

Lennart Koelstra has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Lennart is currently the Head of Tax Compliance & Technology at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at PwC Nederland as a Senior Manager Tax Reporting and Strategy from April 2015 to December 2021. Lennart also served as a Lecturer at Nyenrode Business Universiteit from November 2015 to June 2021. Before that, Lennart worked at Deloitte Nederland as a Senior Consultant in the Tax Management Consulting group from May 2009 to April 2015. Lennart gained experience in tax accounting and auditing, including handling IFRS and US GAAP audits for multinational companies. Additionally, Lennart worked as a Student-Assistant at Erasmus School of Economics from January 2008 to April 2009 and as a Freelancer in Computer & ICT services from November 2003 to January 2008.

Lennart Koelstra attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Fiscale Economie. Lennart did not obtain a specific degree during their time at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition to their formal education, Lennart obtained several certifications through online platforms such as Coursera. In August 2014, they completed the "Advanced Competitive Strategy" course provided by Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. In June 2014, they completed the "Programming for Everybody - Python" course offered by the University of Michigan. Lastly, in April 2014, Lennart completed the "Internet History, Technology, and Security" course also provided by the University of Michigan.
