Mark Sturges

Mark Sturges has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark started their career in 2001 at Vitol S.A., where they held various roles including Back Office Clerk, Junior Paper Trader/Broker, Accountant, Financial Operator, and Business Project Manager. Mark then worked as a Treasury Advisor at Klesch Petroleum SA from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on cash flow management and trade finance. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an FX Lead and Project Manager at FX Services and Investment Fund, where they conducted back testing and budgeting activities. Mark then joined Archer Daniels Midland Company as a Finance Designer and Business Analyst from 2015 to 2018, working on global business transformation projects. In 2019, they worked as an IT Business Analyst Consultant at VARO Energy, where they handled problem-solving and project management. In the same year, they also served as an Implementation and Project Manager at IWG plc, focusing on treasury innovation and business development. Their most recent role is as a Senior Business Analyst at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., where they work on business analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.

Mark Sturges began their education at Shiplake College from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued A-Levels in Maths and Physics. Following this, they completed a Business Analyst Certification in BABOK 3.0 (IIBA) from Lab4tech in the year 2018 to 2019.
