Travis Broersma

Travis Broersma has a diverse work experience in the energy trading industry. Travis started as an Energy Trading Analytics Intern at Xcel Energy in 2005 and then moved on to become a Financial Power Trader at Peak Capital Management in 2006. In 2007, Travis joined Integrys Energy Services where they worked as an Energy Trading Analyst and later as a Real Time Power Trader.

In 2010, Travis joined Macquarie Group where they held various roles including Power Trader, ERCOT Origination - Power and Gas, and ERCOT Power Trader. Travis then joined Guzman Energy, LLC in 2015 as a Director, ERCOT and SPP Power Trading before being promoted to Director - Head of North America Power Trading in 2017.

Most recently, Travis joined Mercuria Energy America, Inc in 2020 as an Energy Trader.

Travis Broersma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Additionally, they have a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Houston.
