Liana Dumitru

Liana Dumitru is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design management. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Mercury since March 2023, Liana oversees a team of over 40 designers, including Heads of Product Design and Product Design Managers. Previous roles include Senior Design Manager at Plaid, where Liana supported a team of more than 10 designers, and Design Manager at Dropbox, responsible for managing several product area designers. As Co-Founder and Head of Design at Memo.AI, Liana directed product strategy, user research, and design execution. Additional experience includes leading design efforts at uVite and freelancing for early-stage startups from 2010 to 2015. Liana holds a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship from Columbia University, a Master's Degree in International and European Business from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Bucharest, and a Bachelor's Degree in European and International Cooperation from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
