Payton Turnage

Payton Turnage is currently the Head of Engineering, Growth & Revenue at Mercury. Prior to this role, they served as the Engineering Manager (Growth) from October 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Mercury from January 2021 to October 2021.

Prior to joining Mercury, Payton worked at Google for over five years. During their time there, they held various positions such as Software Engineer (L4), Software Engineer (L3), and Security Engineer. Their work at Google spanned across multiple teams including the Fuchsia operating system, Media Team, and Square.

Payton has a wealth of experience in designing APIs, implementing stream processing, and integrating Rust libraries. They also have experience in leading Rust documentation efforts. Their skills include programming in C++, Rust, Dart, and Python.

Payton Turnage has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University.
