Russell Stewart has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field. Russell began their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer (Contractor) at Sandia National Laboratories. In 2006, they moved to VeraLight, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built a customized, stripped-down Linux OS from source to run on an embedded system in a medical device. Russell also designed and built a C++ application to run on the OS and interface with custom hardware. From 2010 to 2017, Russell worked at CauseLabs as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on the Bible.is for Android app and Moneythink, a social/gamified app developed for a financial education program targeted at high school students. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Owner of ZMo Software. Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Android Developer at Nuvita.

Russell Stewart graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics.
