Michael Larj has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Michael started their career in 1975 as a Foreman in the N.C. Drilling Department at Printed Circuit Corporation. From there, they held multiple positions at different companies, including Manufacturing Solutions/Schlumberger/Applicon as an Electronics Technician, where they gained experience in test equipment design, manufacturing support, and training. Michael then worked at Wellfleet Communications as the Manager of Hardware Services Repair Depot, where they established and managed a repair depot and logistics functions. Subsequently, they joined Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks as a Product Support Program Manager, overseeing the implementation of a Field Change Order process and serving on ISO9000 certification program teams. Michael continued their career at Bay Networks/Nortel, where they worked as a Hardware Sustaining Engineer, responsible for resolving issues in communication switches, routers, and hubs. Michael then became the Hardware Sustaining Engineering - Functional and Program Manager at Nortel, managing resources and schedules to address hardware issues and planning various VPN hardware platform programs. After their time at Nortel, they started their own business, Custom Furniture Building, as an Owner/Operator. Michael later joined General Electric - Measurement and Control as an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, where they focused on the assembly, integration, and test staging of flow measurement fixtures and systems. Currently, they are working at Mercury Systems as a Lead Engineering Technician.

Michael Larj attended Control Data Institute for Computer Technology. Michael also attended Middlesex Community College for Mathematics.
