John Tatkovic

John Tatkovic has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. John currently holds the position of Head of Engineering and Asset Management at Mercury NZ since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rio Tinto from 2005 to 2022, where they held several managerial positions, including Acting CEO & General Manager, Manager - Casting & Logistics, Manager - Engineering & Assets, Manager - Logistics Projects, Manager - Marine & Logistics, Principal Engineer - Fixed Plant Assets, Superintendent Production, Specialist Process Improvement, Reliability Assurance Supervisor, and Materials Engineer. Before joining Rio Tinto, they worked in materials engineering roles at various companies from 2002 to 2005.

John Tatkovic completed a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering from The University of Queensland.
