We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our Transaction and Partner Monitoring department. This crucial role is central to our compliance and monitoring operations, with a focus primarily on cryptocurrency transactions. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML), and transaction monitoring within the cryptocurrency industry. Familiarity with industry-standard investigation tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or Crystal Blockchain is essential. With a vision for growth, we are looking for a dynamic leader who excels in their current role and is poised to assume a managerial position within our team.

Your Role:

  • Oversee cryptocurrency transaction monitoring operations, ensuring thorough compliance and effective fraud detection.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for legal investigation queries related to our cryptocurrency operations.

  • Process legal requests and orders in collaboration with the legal department, ensuring all actions are timely and compliant with regulations.

  • Conduct detailed investigations into cryptocurrency transactions using tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, and Crystal Blockchain.

  • Monitor and report suspicious activities in accordance with AML/KYC regulations, including the preparation and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).

  • Enhance monitoring tools and processes, incorporating feedback and collaborating closely with our technical team.

  • Maintain and update knowledge on cryptocurrency compliance regulations and support internal training and knowledge sharing efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive expertise in cryptocurrency transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and compliance.

  • Experience with cryptocurrency investigation tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or Crystal Blockchain.

  • Demonstrable leadership skills with potential for progression to a managerial role within our team.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discretely and with integrity.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and exhibit strong organizational skills.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development in cryptocurrency compliance, financial investigations, and related areas.
