Abdirahman Mohumed

Abdirahman Mohumed is an experienced water resources and irrigation engineer with a focus on water management and agricultural development. Currently serving as a Water Resources Specialist at Mercy Corps since February 2024, Abdirahman previously held positions as an Irrigation Engineer at ALIGHT Organization and World Vision, as well as an Irrigation Technical Manager at the Ministry of Agricultural Development of Somaliland. Earlier career roles include working as an Irrigation Engineer at Pharo Foundation and a WASH Officer at Taakulo Somali Community Organization. Abdirahman holds a Master's degree in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from Arba Minch University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hargeisa.
