Beth Melix-Stanciu

Beth Melix-Stanciu has extensive experience in finance and development operations within international organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development Operations & Analytics at Mercy Corps since January 2010, Beth has also held positions as International Finance Manager and Regional Finance Officer, supporting finance staff across various countries, including Niger, Mali, Tunisia, DRC, and Mongolia. Prior experience includes working as an Accountant at Children's Surgical Centre, where training of accounting staff on financial practices was a key responsibility, and as a Grants Accountant at Public Radio International. Early career experience includes administrative work at Volunteer Lawyers Network. Beth holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, with a focus on French, from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Master of Arts in French Studies from New York University.
