Guranda Gogitidze

Guranda Gogitidze currently serves as the Head of the Association businesswoman of Ajara since February 2024 and has been with Mercy Corps since June 2014, holding the positions of Senior Programme Officer, Senior Transversal Theme Officer, and Business Development Officer, where expertise encompasses gender, governance, and disaster risk reduction (DRR). Notable contributions include cooperation with municipal and regional governments and promoting gender mainstreaming in various programs. Additionally, Guranda has served as the Chief Executive Officer at American International School Progress from August 2022 to January 2025 and as an Executive Assistant at the Public Service Hall from November 2012 to June 2014. Previous experience includes working as a Data Analyst and journalist at Ajara TV and Radio from January 2009 to September 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and a Master's degree in Political Science and Government, along with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Batumis Šota Rustavelis Sakhelobis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti.
