Jessica Kirk-Bowman

Director, Foundation Partnerships at Mercy Corps

Jessica Kirk-Bowman has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Jessica started their career at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Research Assistant and later became an Exercise Program Coordinator. In 2010, they joined HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual as a Development Coordinator. From 2014 to 2017, Jessica worked at USA for UNHCR as a Corporate and Foundations Officer. Jessica then moved on to the International Rescue Committee, where they served as a Senior Officer in Institutional Philanthropy & Partnerships from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Jessica is the Director of Foundation Partnerships at Mercy Corps, a position they started in 2020.

Jessica Kirk-Bowman has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Nonprofit Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they received from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an MPhil degree in Ethnic and Racial Studies from Trinity College Dublin, from 2004 to 2005. Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Welfare and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned from 2000 to 2002. Jessica began their undergraduate studies at Bard College at Simon's Rock, where they received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts from 1998 to 2000.
