Joy Kebirungi

Joy Kebirungi is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in people management and organizational culture. Currently serving as the Senior People, Culture & Safeguarding Officer at Mercy Corps since January 2019, Joy has successfully advanced people-focused strategies across various HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development. Prior roles at Mercy Corps include Senior People & Culture Officer and Administration Officer, where Joy honed skills in optimizing HR processes and enhancing employee engagement. Joy also contributed to Save the Children International as an Administration Assistant, ensuring efficient office operations. Joy holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Kyambogo University.
