Oliver Hughes

Oliver Hughes is an experienced leader in international development and program management, currently serving as the West & Central Africa Regional Technical Resources & Quality (TRaQ) Director at Mercy Corps since August 2020. Prior roles at Mercy Corps include Senior Advisor in the Executive Office and Program Performance and Quality (PaQ) Director. Previously, Oliver held several positions at Catholic Relief Services from September 2013 to July 2020, including Head of Programs for Eastern DRC and Deputy Head of Programs. Oliver's career began at UNDP, where roles included Programme Consultant and Programme Assistant. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Law and Development from the University of London, a Master of Arts in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
