Selena Victor

Selena Victor is a seasoned professional in policy and advocacy, currently serving as Senior Director at Mercy Corps since March 2016, where responsibilities include enhancing the profile and influence of Mercy Corps Europe and managing a team focused on policy change in humanitarian aid and resilience. With extensive experience in advocacy strategy, Selena has supported clients in developing impactful strategies and evaluating their success. Prior to Mercy Corps, Selena held the position of Director of Policy & Advocacy at the International Rescue Committee UK, contributing to significant revenue and staffing growth and transforming policies regarding violence against women and major crises. Earlier roles include serving as a Sudan Researcher at Human Rights Watch, where Selena conducted critical research on human rights violations. Selena holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Legal Practice Certificate from The University of Law.
