Laura Meyer-Junco, PharmD, BCPS, CPE, FASCP, serves as the System Palliative Care Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois since July 2025, focusing on palliative care, hospice, and pain management. Concurrently, Laura is an Associate Graduate Faculty member in the Masters of Palliative Care Program at the University of Maryland School of Graduate Studies and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacotherapy at Taylor & Francis Group. With a strong background in geriatrics and palliative care, Laura has held various clinical roles at UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy, Mercyhealth, and OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Palliative Care from the University of Maryland, a PharmD from Purdue University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Augustana College. Laura has also contributed to education as a part-time lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and as a yoga instructor at Rock Valley College.
