Paul Owen

In his role as General Counsel, Paul Owen is responsible for the general legal and compliance affairs of the Mercy Ships group of affiliated organizations. Paul joined Mercy Ships in November, 2020, after a 25 year career in the oil and gas industry. He was born in Venezuela, and with his wife of 28 years and three adult children, has traveled the world for work and for short-term missions work. He strives to live his faith in international business, legal, and missions issues, and is blessed to apply this passion in Mercy Ships. He earned his B.A. from Texas Christian University, and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
