Chris Harman

Chris Harman is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in resource evaluation and geological modeling across various companies in the mining industry. Currently serving as Principal Resource Geologist at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk since October 2025, Harman previously held roles including Principal Geologist at AMC Consultants and Principal Geoscientist at Rio Tinto, where significant contributions included pit optimization, stakeholder engagement, project benchmarking, and mentoring. Harman's expertise spans the development of feasibility models and resource estimates in lithium, coal, and uranium, with a strong focus on best practices and compliance with JORC standards. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Newcastle.
