Balasubramanya K S has worked for seven companies, starting with Ampersand Software Applications Pvt Ltd in 1991 as a Software Engineer. Balasubramanya then moved to Sonata software Ltd in 1993 as a Systems Analyst and Consultant. In 2000, they joined IBM Global Business Services as a Program Manager. Balasubramanya then moved to TRX Technologies India Pvt Ltd in 2007 as Delivery Head. In 2010, they joined Xerox as a Program Manager. In 2013, they joined SAP Concur as an Associate Director - IT. Most recently, they joined MergerWare in 2020 as Director - Product Management, with the mission of disrupting traditional M&A processes by helping clients expedite, simplify and standardize deal execution.

Balasubramanya K S completed their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from UVCE between 1986 and 1990. Prior to that, they attended National College from 1984 to 1986. Balasubramanya also attended National High School from 1981 to 1984. In 2011 and 2012, they completed the One Year Executive General Management & Leadership Programme for Senior Indian Executives (ILPSIE) from INSEAD. Finally, they completed their Executive MBA in Product Leadership from the Institute of Product Leadership between 2017 and 2019.
