Brenda B.

Brenda B. has a diverse work experience in the real estate and banking industry. Brenda is currently serving as the Team Lead GTA West Business Banking at Meridian Credit Union since 2017. Previously, they worked as the REX Awards Co-Chair at NAIOP Greater Toronto Chapter from 2013 to 2017. Brenda has also worked as a Senior Account Manager, Commercial Services at Alterna Savings from 2014 to 2016. Brenda has experience in commercial real estate loan origination, negotiation, restructuring, and account management. Prior to that, Brenda served as an Asset Manager at GE Capital Real Estate from 2007 to 2013 where they managed a CND $1 billion loan portfolio, conducted loan surveillance, and performed asset management duties. Brenda has also held roles at Oxford Properties Group as Manager, Corporate Development & Investments from 2004 to 2007 and at Borealis Capital Corporation as an Investment Analyst from 2002 to 2004. Brenda started their career as an Analyst at Beutel Goodman Real Estate in 2000.

Brenda B. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Mathematics from Western University from 1993 to 1997. Brenda then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Regional Planning from Queen's University from 1997 to 1999. In addition, Brenda obtained certifications as a Registered Real Estate Sales Person from RECO in 2009 and as a Mortgage Agent from the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administration of Ontario in 2007.
