Automation Engineer at Meridian Energy

Peter Kim started their work experience as a Student Electrical Engineer at Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd in 2010. Peter then worked as a Capability Intern at Enasolar, Solar Inverter Manufacturer in 2011, where they researched and tested solar inverters. In 2012, they worked as a Technician at Enatel Motive Power Ltd, where they were responsible for testing, QA/QC, repairs, and assembly of motive power products. Later in 2012, they worked as a Technician at Enatel, where they dealt with standby power solutions for telecommunications gear. From 2013 to 2019, Peter worked at WorleyParsons as an Instrument and Controls Engineer, primarily on refinery projects. Peter also had a secondment to Refining NZ as the Instrument Technical Support Engineer. After that, they worked as a Power System Engineer at Ergo Consulting Ltd from 2019 to 2022. Peter then joined Jacobs as an Associate ICT Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as an Automation Engineer at Meridian Energy since 2023.

Peter Kim attended Burnside High School, but no specific year range was provided. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at the University of Canterbury in 2008 and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2011.
