Sikandar Ali

Sikandar Ali has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy. Sikandar began their career as an intern at Pakistan State Oil Company (PSO) in 2013. Sikandar then worked as a Solar Application Engineer at Nizam Energy Pvt Ltd - Nizam Solar from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, they served as a Student Researcher at SMA Sunbelt Energy GmbH. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Renewable Energy Advisor at Elemental Group Limited. In 2019, they also gained experience in business events planning and management as part of their role at Taranaki Young Professionals Inc. In 2020, they were a Project Supervisor at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Sikandar continued their career in 2022 as a Renewable Energy Engineer at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, and currently holds the same position at Meridian Energy.

Sikandar Ali pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering and Technology. Sikandar studied at this institution from 2009 to 2013. Furthering their education, Sikandar enrolled at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, where they earned a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy Management. This educational venture occurred between 2016 and 2019.
