Melanie Surface is an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse with 30 years in the nursing field. Currently serving as a Triage LPN at Meridian Health Services since January 2021, Melanie has held various roles including LPN at Meridian Pediatrics and Home Muncie. Previous positions include Unit Manager at Golden Living, Assistant Director of Nursing at Meadowbrooke Rehabilitation Center and Suites, and A.D.O.N. at Waters of Muncie, with early experience in nursing at the Youth Opportunity Center, focusing on healthcare for troubled and homeless youth. Melanie began nursing education at the Anderson School of Practical Nursing and furthered qualifications at Indiana University Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Community College.
