Laura Windecker

Laura Windecker is a Senior Mediator in Meridian’s Washington, D.C. office. She has a diverse portfolio that includes oceans and coasts, regenerative agriculture, climate change, and strategy for philanthropists, grantmakers, and impact investors.

Laura has been involved in ocean and coastal science-related efforts for over 15 years. Most recently, she oversaw an environmental grants portfolio and directed a study on assessing coastal restoration efforts in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico region at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She was also a NOAA John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System, a federal interagency committee.
