Ryan Oberlag

Ryan Oberlag is a skilled professional with extensive experience in program coordination and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at Meridian International Center since August 2021, Ryan previously held roles as a Community Development Coordinator and LGBTQ+ Student Alumni Liaison at American University from October 2019 to August 2021. Additionally, Ryan worked as an Advocacy Fellow with the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area from September 2020 to June 2021 and gained experience as a Museum Docent at the TITANIC Museum Attractions from March 2019 to February 2020. Ryan’s career began at Missouri State University, where roles included Administrative Assistant and Tour Guide from February 2016 to May 2019. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University and Missouri State University.
