Mark Bouie Ed.d.

Mark Bouie, Ed.D., MSW has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Mark worked as a Senior Vice President at Meritan, Inc., where they formulated company policies and developed long-range goals and objectives. Mark also served as a Program Director at Meritan, Inc.

Prior to that, Mark Bouie worked as a Director of Operations at Illinois MENTOR, The MENTOR Network. In this role, they ensured the growth and quality of programs and services and coached and developed a team of staff.

Mark also served as an Executive Director at Beatrice Caffrey Youth Service, where they directed the development of policies and the preparation of the annual budget.

Furthermore, Mark Bouie worked as the Director of Child Welfare at Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois, where they provided statewide program administration and supervision.

In addition to their leadership roles, Mark Bouie also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Moraine Valley Community College.

Mark Bouie, Ed.D., MSW has a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Mark also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from Illinois State University. In addition to their educational background, Mark Bouie has obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
